Statement of Faith

Below is our statement. If you have any questions please use the contact page.

We believe in that there is one living true God, the Father, and infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of all people, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Who Is Jesus?

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in Jesus lived a perfect life so that he might be our substitution that is needed to satisfy the penalty for our imperfect lives.

What's Man's Deal?

We believe that According to Scripture, everyone is guilty of sin: “There is no man who does not sin” (1 Kings 8:46). That doesn’t mean we’re incapable of performing acts of human kindness. But we’re utterly incapable of understanding, loving, or pleasing God on our own.  We would fall short of heaven if we were left on our own to earn our way or to figure it out on our own.

Salvation is a gift from God’s and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as the substitute in our place, and that salvation is found in none other than Jesus Christ. Before Creation, God chose those who would be saved and granted this unearned grace solely based on His sovereign good pleasure. Jesus Christ’s death on the cross was the sole and complete payment for sins, fully satisfying God’s righteous wrath, for each person that turns from sin in repentance and places their faith in Christ alone by grace alone. At salvation, each person is made a new creation by the Holy Spirit, declared righteous before God, and secured as an adopted child of God forever.

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts and written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is truthful and is relevant for our lives today.

The Church

We believe that upon placing one’s faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the believer is made part of the Body of Christ, the one universal Church, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. We gather locally in order to worship, pray, teaching of the Word, fellowship, the ordinances of baptism and communion, service to the local body through the development and use of talents and spiritual gifts, and outreach to the world to make disciples.  Wherever God’s people meet regularly in obedience to this command, there is the local expression of the Church under the watchful care of a plurality of elders. A church’s members are to work together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ with the task of sharing the gospel of Jesus to our world.
